My third project takes an entirely different, more formulaic approach to art. I've made the decision to try drawing out the major muscles in the body, while also labeling them. I plan to use paper and colored pencils to show the groupings and specific muscles that I'll be covering. Though muscles are illustrated with much complexity, I will try to simplify the method I use to illustrate them to further my own understanding while helping myself create realistically proportioned human bodies. The main reason I chose this is because I am very novice with body proportions, and I am unable to accurately illustrate a human body at the moment. By doing this, I will be better at placing muscles in anatomically correct locations, which will help me with both realistic and cartoon-y drawings of the human body and anything similar.
